Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using ConvertGo ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our file conversion and processing platform. Please read these Terms carefully before using our service.

Description of Service

ConvertGo provides online file conversion and processing services, including but not limited to:

• Image format conversion (JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, ICO)
• Document conversion (PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• File compression and optimization
• Image editing tools (resize, crop, rotate, flip)
• AI-powered background removal
• Video format conversion
• Batch file processing
• Professional image processing tools

User Accounts and Registration

ConvertGo is designed to be used without registration. However, for certain premium features, you may be required to create an account. If you choose to create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Upload files containing malicious code, viruses, or malware
• Upload copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Use the service for illegal activities or to violate any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated tools to abuse our service
• Upload files that are excessively large (over 50MB per file)
• Share account credentials with others
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content

File Upload and Processing

When uploading files to ConvertGo, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You have the right to upload and process the files
• Files are temporarily stored on our secure servers for processing
• Files are automatically deleted after processing (typically within 24 hours)
• We do not access, read, or analyze the content of your files
• You are responsible for backing up your original files
• We are not liable for any data loss during processing
• Processing is done securely with industry-standard encryption
• No watermarks are added to your converted files

Intellectual Property Rights

The ConvertGo service, website, and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ConvertGo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in files you upload. By uploading files, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process them solely for the purpose of providing our conversion services. This license expires when your files are deleted from our servers.

Free Service and Usage Limits

ConvertGo is provided free of charge with the following terms:

• No registration required for basic file conversion
• Maximum file size: 50MB per file
• No daily conversion limits for normal usage
• All converted files are provided without watermarks
• We may introduce premium features in the future
• Excessive usage may be subject to rate limiting

Service Availability and Maintenance

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
• Suspend service for emergency maintenance
• Update or modify features and functionality
• Add new file format support
• Improve AI and processing algorithms

We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions or maintenance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, files, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or downtime
• File corruption or conversion errors
• Security breaches or unauthorized access
• Third-party actions or content
• Loss of profits or revenue

Since our service is provided free of charge, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service, which is zero.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The ConvertGo service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of conversion results
• Warranties that defects will be corrected
• Warranties regarding file security or data protection

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConvertGo, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the ConvertGo service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content or files you upload or process
• Any copyright infringement claims

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service or excessive usage
• Upload of malicious or harmful content
• Copyright infringement

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and we may delete any files or data associated with your use of the service.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the state of Gujarat, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the ConvertGo service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through the competent courts of Gujarat, India.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Sending email notifications to registered users
• Displaying prominent notices on our service
• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
